Summarize new YouTube channel videos with Gemini and send a digest to Telegram

On a schedule, it writes content with Google Gemini using RSS, Telegram.

What it does

## Summarize new YouTube videos from channel RSS feeds with AI and send to Telegram Get one Telegram message each morning with every new video from the channels you follow, each with a two-line AI summary and a link. No YouTube API key needed: it reads YouTube's free RSS feeds. ### How it works 1. The Schedule Trigger runs once a day (8am by default). 2. Set channels and settings holds your list of channel IDs, how far back to look and your Telegram chat ID. 3. Each channel's RSS feed (youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=...) is read. A broken channel ID is skipped instead of stopping the run. 4. Videos published inside the lookback window are kept, and any video already sent in an earlier run is dropped, so you never get repeats. 5. Gemini writes a one-sentence summary and a "worth watching if" line from the video's title and description. 6. All summaries are combined into one digest (split into several messages if it gets long) and sent to Telegram. ### Setup 1. Add a Google Gemini (PaLM) API credential with a free key from aistudio.google.com. 2. Create a Telegram bot with @BotFather, add it as a Telegram credential, send your bot a message, and put your chat ID in Set channels and settings. 3. Replace the example channel IDs with your own. Find one on a channel page via *About > Share channel > Copy channel ID* (it starts with UC). 4. Activate the workflow. The first run sends everything from the last 24 hours. ### Customization - Change the schedule or lookback_hours for a weekly digest (e.g. 168 hours). - Swap the Gemini model for any other chat model node, such as Groq or OpenAI.
