Create a topic dossier as an HTML file with DuckDuckGo
When a form is submitted, it runs an AI agent with OpenRouter and DeepSeek using Duck Duck Go.
What it does
## Create a topic dossier as one HTML file Type a topic and get one HTML file: an overview in which each paragraph cites a source, key points with quotes that code checked against the pages, the latest news, an instant answer and what people search for next, and, if you ask for them, videos and pictures. It uses every operation of the DuckDuckGo node and needs no search API key. Self-hosted n8n only - community nodes do not run on n8n Cloud. ### How it works 1. A model plans the searches. An AI agent reads pages with the node as its tools (three searches at most). 2. Code keeps a finding only if its quote is in the text or search snippet of a page. A second model writes the overview from those findings alone. 3. News, videos, pictures, the instant answer and the search ideas are one search each. 4. A design agent writes a style sheet for the topic; a checker tool and the code accept only a short list of CSS properties and readable colours. 5. Code builds the HTML (all text escaped, no script); the form shows it with a Download button. ### Setup 1. Settings > Community nodes: install n8n-nodes-duckduckgo-search 32.19.0 or later, on n8n 2.18 or later (older versions open preview links in a restricted tab). 2. Add an OpenRouter credential to OpenRouter model and to Check the pictures. The model is deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017, with the inference-net/fp8 provider preferred; to change it, change both places. 3. Activate, open the form's production URL and type a topic. The form only opens for people signed in to this n8n. A run takes one to two minutes and uses 5 to 7 DuckDuckGo searches. DuckDuckGo limits searches per IP address, so leave a few minutes between runs.
