Detect new orders and due date changes from Google Drive with Data Tables

When you run it, it manages files using Data Table, Google Drive.

What it does

## Detect new orders and due date changes from an order list in Google Drive Who it's for: Sales admins, order desks and production planners who keep an order list in Excel or Google Sheets and need to know what changed since last time. ### How it works 1. Finds the order list in a Google Drive folder by name and picks the latest file (date in the file name, e.g. Order_List_20261015.xlsx). Excel files and Google Sheets both work. 2. Reads the first sheet and maps the Order No., Customer, Product and Due Date columns (English or Japanese headers). Due dates are normalized to YYYY-MM-DD. The run stops on a missing column, an empty order number or a duplicate order number. 3. First run: the baseline table is empty, so all rows are saved as the baseline. 4. Later runs: compares the file with the baseline and outputs a preview of new orders and due date changes. Deleted orders are ignored and the baseline is never overwritten. ### How to set up 1. Create a Data Table named order_baseline with four string columns: order_number, customer_name, product_name, delivery_date. 2. Connect your Google Drive credential on both Google Drive nodes. 3. In Search Order Files in Folder, select your folder and change the search term if your file is not called Order_List. 4. Run the workflow once to save the baseline, then run it again whenever the list changes. ### Requirements - Google Drive account - n8n with Data Tables ### How to customize - Add a Slack, Teams or Gmail node after Compare Orders and Build Preview to send the preview. - Swap the manual trigger for a Schedule Trigger to check automatically.
