Send cited research newsletters from a form with Claude, Tavily and Gmail
When a form is submitted, it handles email with Claude using Gmail, Tavily.
What it does
## Research and send a cited newsletter from a short form Fill in a topic, an audience and a tone. About two minutes later a researched newsletter lands in Gmail, with a source for every claim and no made-up links. ### How it works 1. A form collects the topic, audience, tone and number of sections. 2. Tavily scans the topic and Claude plans the sections, each with its own search query. 3. For each section, Tavily searches again and Claude writes it from those results only. 4. A Code step keeps a link only if Tavily actually returned that page, and strips unsafe HTML. 5. Claude writes the subject line and intro, and the newsletter goes to Gmail as a draft, or is sent straight away. ### Setup 1. Connect an Anthropic credential to the three Claude nodes. 2. Create a Bearer Auth credential with your Tavily API key and select it in both Tavily nodes. 3. Connect Gmail to the two delivery nodes. 4. In Settings, set send_to and keep delivery_mode as draft until you trust the output. 5. Click Execute workflow to run the pinned sample, then open the form URL. ### Customization tips Change tone options in the form, and section length, search depth and time window in Settings. _Built by Alicia Graham, economist and n8n Ambassador._
